Bouldering This big event will is organizing by FBAC (Federation of the Bulgarian Alpinist Clubs) - Friday April 20-th – Saturday April 21-th in competition climbing - boulder, men and women.
Bouldering Climbing club “Akademik”, Sofia was the host of the third annual Indoor Boulder Meeting in the Sofia University climbing gym. More than 90 climbers from all over Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Serbia took part at the meeting exchangeing experience and contacts in the spirit of friendship and good will. Along with the meeting an informal boulder competition was held with prizes for the winners.
Bouldering Alpine club “Akademik” Sofia and The Bulgarian Alpine Federation are proud to present the third annual Indoor Boulder Meeting in the Sofia University climbing gym.
General Things From 14 to 17 of December 2006 the Bulgarian town Bansko was host of the Sixth International Mountain Film Festival. There were given sixth awards.

Expeditions The mission of the Bulgarian expedition Tangra 2004 is to collect scientific data o­n the mountain massif of Tangra situated o­n Livingston Island in the South Shetlands archipelago.
General Things From 8 to 10 of October 2004 the Bulgarian town Sliven was host of the Fourth International Mountain Film Festival. The vice-mayor of Sliven Dr. Penko Penkov was on the opening and closing ceremony. For the second time such event was held in Sliven. (Two festivals were held in town of Troian). Hopefully this would become a tradition as the organizers promised.
New Climbing Routes On Saturday, October 9-th 2004, o­n Shaan Kaya, the Crimea, Ukraine, at the big crowd of people the presentation of a new multi-pitch route "Atlant M" took place.
Big Walls Bryan Law, Ivo Ninov and Gab McNeely spent over 300 hours working to clean the route. Over 200 fixed pieces of gear were removed, weighing approximately 30 pounds.
