INVITATION

For participation in THE FIRST CLIMBING FESTIVAL – VARNA 2007 - National boulder climbing championship for men and women, Mountain film festival.

1. Mountain film festival

Time and place of the event:
On 3, 4, 5 August 2007 the city of Varna will be host of the Mountain Film Festival. Movies from 25 countries and 5 continents will be presented. The movies will be shown in the municipality building, hall “Plenarna” from 17.00 to 22.00. The entrance is free.
Meanwhile the guests of the festival will be able to enjoy the magnificent pictures from the photo exhibition of Nikolay Petkov and Doychin Boyanov “Nanga Parbat - 2006”, which will be displayed at the lobby in front of hall “Plenarna”.
Man desires to reach every single place o­n Earth, but unfortunately dreams cannot always come true. If you’d like even for a brief moment to fulfill your dreams and get your adrenalin going, then you are welcome to the film festival – the good time is guaranteed!

2. National championship in competition climbing - boulder, men and women.

Time and place of the event:
The competition will take place o­n 4 August 2007 at 13.30. A climbing wall for bouldering will be built especially for the competition in the sea garden o­n the amphitheatrical platform near the Pantheon, 200m far from the coast.

The right to participate has anyone who fulfills the following conditions:
• Medical examination, conducted before the competition
• Insurance for at least 1000 leva;

Registration:
Saturday (04.08.2007) in front of the climbing wall

Start fee:
8 (eight) leva (payment at the registration)

15.00 – technical conference
14.30 – isolation zone opens
15.30 – isolation zone closes
16.00 – start
22.00 – final
22.30 – awarding of the winners

Awarding fund: 1500 leva
