International Climbing Meeting "Vratza 2003"

We invite all climbers, in the limestone area in the outskirts of the town of Vratza from 20st May to 25th May 2003, where Federation of the Bulgarian Alpine Clubs organizes the second rock-climbing meeting “Vtarza 2003”.



There will have place for camps, information desk, t-shirts and competition with prizes, evening presentations and of course - big party.



PROGRAM

Morning – breakfast and climbing.

Evening – presentations o­n different alpine subjects begin o­n 20:00 in “The house of tourist”. Organizatiors reserve their rights to change the evening program, if it’s necessary.

20 May, Tuesday. Club “Mountain and adventure” will show film from expedition in Asia last year, including peak Mustag Ata.

21 May, Wednesday. Evening devote to Everest. Will show the following films:
“Climbing impossible – Mount Everest”, England. Film about tragic expedition during 1924. “American in Everest” and “Everest ’92. Moments from o­ne trip”.

22 May, Tursday. Grant will tell us about climbing in UK and exotic coasts.

23 May, Friday. This evening we devote to Milen Milchev. Nikola Levakov will show photos and tell us about theirs climbing Materchorn this winter.

24 May, Saturday. ClimbingGuideBg.com organizes big party. This will be something new, and it will be happening for the first time, so don’t miss it.

One of the days will have a competition o­n sport climbing routes in the area of Malkata Vratza (or The Cuarry). Of course will have prizes, but exactly what they will be, we still don’t know.
