From 19th to 21st of September the Bulgarian town Sliven was host of the 3rd International Festival of the Mountaineering Movies. All events went according the program (this program is available here in Climbing Guide).

The mayor of Sliven was o­n the opening and closing ceremony. The previous two festivals were held in town of Troian. For the first time such event was held in Sliven. Hopefully this would become a tradition as the organizers promised.

There were given several awards. The movie "Mustang" made by Slovakian Pavol Barabash won Grand-Prix of the festival. This movie presents unique images from recently opened for foreign visitors Kingdom Mustang.

The jury awarded with a special prize polish movie "Shared Flight".

Another Polish movie "Images from and Expedition" won award for soundtrack and just another o­ne movie from Poland "Moments from the life of Ms Ana" won award for camera. The prize for outdoor activity was won by German movie "Angels of Gravity". The movie "White Dreams" of Bulgarian mountaineer Dojchin Vasilev was decorated with a special prize of Sliven's community.
